Job summary

Safe and Sound Security is seeking an experienced Field Surveyor/Estimator to develop installation estimates and scope of work for security system projects in Walnut Creek and surrounding areas. You will conduct site surveys, define BoMs, and guide the installation team to ensure accurate, cost-effective plans.

This is not a sales role. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in security/low-voltage, strong writing skills, and comfort balancing fieldwork with documentation while communicating effectively

Qualifications

• 2+ years in security/low voltage industry or equivalent experience.
• Strong writing and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys and develop estimates and scopes of work for security system installations.
• Provide guidance to installation team to ensure understanding of project scope.
• Communicate advantages of cloud-based security systems and related services to stakeholders.
• Write detailed scopes of work and Bills of Materials.
• Manage day-to-day correspondence and balance fieldwork with documentation.
