  • Order tires and manage tire inventory.
  • Handle tire mounting/fitment at the fleets to ensure tires are placed in a timely manner in the correct fleet application/usage.
  • Plan visits to fleets/customers on a schedule that allows you to measure tires consistent with the prescribed mileage/time interval outlined in the test plan.
  • Inspect tires multiple times during the test as required by the test plan and complete end-of-test inspections.
  • Make technical assessments of tire damages, classify and photograph damages.
  • Provide periodic reports on tire performance to the tire designers.
  • Organize tire shipments during and at the completion of field testing.
  • Identify issues, assess root causes, and develop action plans to resolve issues.
  • Manage multiple evaluations/tire surveys at multiple fleets simultaneously.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the fleets you are responsible for: business model, operating segments, and other factors that could affect the success of Michelin’s tire evaluations.
  • Prospect for potential new fleet resources.
  • Provide training for key fleet personnel in survey methods and tire maintenance.
  • Administrative duties: Email, planning of fleet visits, making travel arrangements, expense reports, and business vehicle maintenance.
