Job summary

TAIT invites aspiring Survey Field Technicians to join a team that works outside regularly, supporting boundary, topographic, and staking projects. You’ll operate robotic total stations, GPS, and CAD tools while coordinating with Party Chiefs and LSITs.

The role emphasizes accuracy, field data collection, and problem solving in varied weather and terrain. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of field survey experience, familiarity with Carlson/Leica equipment, and a willingness to work

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ field survey experience with various tools.
• Experience with Carlson Data Collection software is a plus.
• Experience with Subdivision/Tract/Parcel maps and Records of Survey.
• Experience setting up map sheets for map check and determining easements.
• Experience with ALTA and Topographic Surveys.

Responsibilities

• Visit job sites to collect accurate survey measurements and field data.
• Operate surveying equipment and set stakes and marks.
• Enter field data into computer systems and assist with maps.
• Support boundary establishment and processing field data with survey teams.
• Maintain field records and coordinate equipment maintenance.
