Job summary

Barge Design Solutions is seeking a Survey Field Technician to support both field and office staff and learn to operate survey equipment. You will gain exposure to field data collection, traffic control, and instrument operation under experienced surveyors.

Responsibilities include setting up equipment, processing data, and assisting with records while maintaining safety and accuracy. This role involves outdoor work, varying schedules, and potential travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and minimal experience.
• Ability to read and understand documents and operate instruments to provide accurate information.
• Valid driver's license and driving record.
• Ability to travel and overnight.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate surveying equipment to collect data.
• Process field data from field books or electronic devices.
• Perform basic field calculations of horizontal and vertical geometry under supervision.
• Assist in researching existing records and maintain field data records.
• Perform other duties as required.
