Haley Ward is seeking a Survey Technician in our Melbourne, FL office to support daily boundary, topographic, as-built surveys, and construction layout. The role requires proficiency with optical and digital instruments, handheld controllers, and data collectors.

Qualifikationen

• + Minimum of 3–5 years of survey experience preferred.
• + Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• + Working knowledge of land surveying practices and modern tools.
• + Comfort with machete, shovel and sledgehammer.
• + Ability to maintain effective working relationships with project staff.
• + Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Aufgaben

• Maintain and safeguard precision equipment, vehicles and supplies.
• Perform boundary, topographic, as-built surveys and construction layout.
• Check and calibrate instruments and batteries.
• Assist Field Survey Party Chief in field assignments.
• Operate Data Collectors to assemble company-standard information.
• Set wooden stakes and iron pins as directed.
