Job description

Loureiro Engineering Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced Field Survey Technician to add to our team. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform boundary, topography, ALTA, right-of-way, and construction surveys for public and private clients;
  • Operate and maintain survey equipment, take field notes, collect data, perform calculations, and work with other staff and clients on these projects;
  • Direct crewmembers in their duties and mentor and coach them to advance within the survey profession as their abilities allow;
  • Research existing record information, including record maps, plans, deeds, easements, and right-of-way documents; maintain field data records, survey project files, and indexing systems;
  • May perform mapping compliance or other related office survey duties as a temporary assignment to satisfy training/experience requirements for the Professional Land Surveyor's License.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of professional surveying practices and procedures and state and federal laws affecting land surveying and boundaries;
  • High school diploma or equivalent required;
  • Good communication and teamwork skills;
  • GPS, Robotic Total Station and Carlson/AutoCAD experience preferred.
