Job summary

Briel & Associates Land Surveyors, Inc. is seeking a dependable Land Survey Crew Chief and Geomatics Technician to join our Satellite Beach, Florida team.

This full-time, on-site role includes occasional travel and requires self-motivation to hit the ground running. Key duties include performing topographic surveys and FDOT construction layout, operating total stations, and maintaining daily office reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of land surveying experience.
• Proficient with total stations and survey data collection tools.
• Experience with topographic and construction layout surveys.
• Must be in good physical condition to perform field work.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work an 8-hour shift with potential for variable hours and travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform topographic surveys and F.D.O.T. construction layout.
• Operate total stations and data collection equipment with proficiency.
• Work independently in the field as needed.
• Drive stakes and manually clear survey lines as required.
• Maintain daily reporting to the office.
