Kiewit is offering a Survey Intern position designed to blend field and office learning in a hands-on environment. You will contribute to survey data collection, processing, and documentation across varied projects within the Central District.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a surveying-related degree, can travel/relocate, and are available May–August. A strong work ethic, safety mindset, and reliable transportation are essential.

Qualifications

• Available to travel and relocate as needed
• Full-time during the summer (May–August)
• Pursuing a degree in surveying or related field
• Able to access construction sites in various climates/environments
• Demonstrates strong work ethic and integrity
• Committed to safety and preventing injuries
• Team player who can also work independently to meet deadlines
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Not requiring sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities

• Follow the project survey plan for field operations
• Maintain accurate field records and procedures
• Use software to process field data
• Follow field safety procedures
• Take accurate field notes
• Set up and maintain control networks
• Communicate with the survey team
