Job summary

Ardurra is seeking a Survey Instrument Operator II in Tampa, Florida to operate total stations, GPS bases, data collectors and levels. You will support the Survey Crew Chief on boundary, topographic, construction layout and utility surveys while keeping equipment and trucks organized and ready for daily work.

Requirements include a High School Diploma, 6+ months field crew experience, strong math, and a valid driver’s license; OSHA 10 certification is provided by the company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in extreme weather and rough terrain.
• Must have a valid Driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Operate survey equipment including total stations, GPS bases, data collectors and levels.
• Assist Survey Crew Chief on Boundary, Topographic, and Construction surveys.
• Set up safety signs, cones, and maintain equipment and batteries.
• Prepare data in data collectors and upload/download files.
• Represent the company professionally in the field.
