Job summary

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid California Land Surveyor License is required.
• Incumbent must possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver's license when operating State vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, administer, and execute the work of a survey crew conducting preliminary, control, topographic, construction and cadastral land surveys.
• Train subordinates to perform land survey duties including operation of precision surveying instruments, surveying procedures, equipment maintenance, survey calculations and note keeping.
• Perform supervisor duties as a working first line supervisor.
