Job summary

Ace Electric, Inc. is seeking a Field Survey/XY Trimble Coordinator to maintain and service Trimble surveying gear and lay out points and elevations for electrical conduit installations on job sites.

You will work with GPS and line-of-sight Trimble equipment on job sites, including panels and lighting fixtures, ensuring accurate survey data. Ideal candidates will have experience with Trimble T100 Tablet and RTS573 Robotic Unit, plus a strong eye for detail and a proactive teamwork mindset.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience using surveying equipment.
• Willingness to work out of town several nights per week.

Responsibilities

• Verify accuracy of onsite project conditions and existing surveys.
• Record surveys: shape, contour, location, elevation and dimensions.
• Calculate heights, depths and property lines for layouts.
• Plan and conduct ground surveys to establish baselines and elevations.
• Adjust and maintain surveying instruments for accuracy.
• Establish fixed points on projects for layouts.
• Train other Trimble equipment users across the company.
