Qualifications

• Knowledge of general field surveying methods
• Proficiency in basic surveying calculations
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to interpret plans and drawings
• Willingness to operate survey equipment in the field

Responsibilities

• Prepare for daily survey tasks by loading vehicles with supplies and ensuring equipment is charged, calibrated, and operational.
• Review and interpret plans and drawings, such as site plans, boundary and highway plans, profiles, cross-sections, curves, and contours.
• Perform survey work including leveling, traversing, boundary, construction, topographic, and control surveys.
• Operate survey equipment (transits, total stations, data collectors, GPS) and perform basic field adjustments.
• Analyze control and boundary monument records and locate monuments in the field.
• Maintain an organized equipment storage area for inventory control.
• Other duties as assigned.
