Seeking a skilled and customer-focused Field Support Engineer to provide remote and on-site technical support for desktops, laptops, tablets, network equipment, and VoIP systems. This role involves managing service delivery, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and collaborating with teams to ensure seamless deployment and maintenance of IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide remote and on-site support for desktops, laptops, tablets, and network equipment.
  • Manage daily service delivery for VoIP, SIP, ACD, and network services, ensuring adherence to service levels.
  • Install, configure, and maintain VoIP systems, unified communications, and call center technologies.
  • Procure, install, and support peripheral devices such as printers and scanners.
  • Collaborate with network teams to troubleshoot VoIP-related network issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network/system problems.
  • Coordinate equipment and network deployment plans with internal teams.
  • Stage and configure network electronics based on technical specifications.
  • Perform physical installation of network hardware at various locations.
  • Conduct assessments and create technical documentation for deployed solutions.
  • Provide Tier 1+/Tier 2 support for VoIP phones and video conferencing systems (Nextiva experience is a plus).
  • Understand and support various network, data center, and infrastructure components.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues independently or collaboratively.
  • Interface with stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and integration.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the support process.
  • Inspect and ensure quality of work performed by on-site personnel.
  • Assist with troubleshooting solutions both remotely and on-site.
  • Confirm completion of L2/L3 testing before concluding on-site visits.

Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of network infrastructure and hardware.
  • Experience with installation, administration, and troubleshooting of network devices including wireless access points, firewalls, routers, switches, and controllers.
  • Fortinet FortiGate experience is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with networking technologies such as DHCP, DNS, VLANs, routing, and network security.
  • Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy troubleshooting.
  • Experience with VPN/IPsec VPN setup and troubleshooting.
  • Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Willingness to travel up to 70% annually.






Estimated Min Rate: $45.00
Estimated Max Rate: $50.00
