Job summary

Ztek Consulting in Cambridge, MA is seeking an IT/Desktop Support Specialist to assess Windows 10 workstations for Windows 11 readiness, build and deploy Windows 11 machines, and install critical business software.

You will migrate data, troubleshoot hardware and software, and coordinate with vendors on compatibility while following SOPs and GxP practices. The role emphasizes strong documentation and end-user support.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of IT/desktop/system support experience.
• Experience troubleshooting Windows 10/11 and administering workstations.
• Experience with hardware, software, drivers and peripherals.
• Active Directory and domain-joined workstation experience.
• Proficient in software/application compatibility troubleshooting.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot independently and coordinate with vendors and infrastructure teams.
• Onsite support for Windows 10 to Windows 11 upgrades and workstation replacements.
