World Central Kitchen seeks a Supply Chain Manager to lead on-the-ground procurement and logistics for rapid disaster response, ensuring timely delivery of food to affected communities. You will train and manage field teams, coordinate with partners, and adapt strategies to challenging environments.

The role requires English fluency, a driver’s license and passport, and willingness to travel. A two-year contract with renewal offers an opportunity to shape WCK’s humanitarian operations globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; 5+ years in management roles in fast-paced environments such as humanitarian, emergency response, or operations settings.
• Fluency in English required; additional languages (Spanish, French, Portuguese) desirable.
• Must have valid Driver's License and Passport.
• Must be willing to travel and work in challenging environments with austere living conditions.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement and logistics operations on the ground to rapidly purchase and deliver food items.
• Build and train locally led response teams and coordinate field operations during activations.
• Develop and implement field strategies adaptable to high-stress environments.
• Recruit, onboard and manage supply chain teams including local hires and corps members.
• Collaborate with finance to share cost projections and ensure timely delivery of meals and supplies.
• Maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers and external partners; oversee inventory and distribution.
