Job summary

MTK Technologies is seeking a Field Quality and Supplier Quality Engineer for a 100% onsite role in Minnesota. You will analyze field failures, verify quality issues, and perform root cause analysis on parts, aiming to implement immediate and permanent countermeasures to protect production lines.

The role requires hands-on metrology, GD&T expertise, and knowledge of part manufacturing processes, including machining and sheet metal, as well as parts qualification and incoming part approval.

Qualifications

• Perform field failure analysis on customer-identified parts.
• Verify correctness of quality issue.
• Perform RCA on the identified part or related part.
• Find immediate countermeasure to manage line.
• Hands on segregation and measurement of on-hold parts.
• Identify countermeasure for permanent resolution.
• Good understanding of GD&T and associated metrology and measurement techniques.
• Understanding of RCA methods and 7QC tools.
• Hands on experience in metrology and understanding of part manufacturing processes, specifically machining and sheet metal.
• Knowledge on electronic parts qualification and incoming part approval process.
