Job summary

ACMS is seeking an Area Supervisor for our School Crossing Guard program in Ladera Ranch and Trabuco Canyon. This hands-on leadership role combines staff development, community engagement, and field operations to help ensure students travel safely to and from school.

This seasonal, part-time position follows the local school calendar. You will recruit, train, and coach crossing guards, provide daily field supervision, coordinate staffing, and perform payroll and reporting.

• Ability to work independently in a field role.
• Comfort with smartphones, email and basic tech.
• Willingness to complete background screening.
• Reliable transportation and valid insurance.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, and coach School Crossing Guards.
• Provide daily support and field supervision.
• Conduct site visits, safety observations, and evaluations.
• Coordinate staffing and schedules for crossings.
• Step in as a crossing guard when needed.
• Complete payroll and administrative reporting.
• Maintain uniforms, equipment, and supplies.
