Job summary

GFL Environmental is seeking a Field Supervisor in Baytown, TX to oversee hydroblasting, tank cleaning, and emergency response projects. You will supervise crews, ensure safe execution of high‑pressure work, and lead safety meetings in a fast-paced, safety‑critical environment.

Strong leadership, DOT/safety compliance experience, and a valid TWIC/driver license are required. This role offers growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits, with on‑site field work in Baytown, Texas.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial cleaning, hydroblasting, or emergency response.
• Knowledge of confined space entry, HAZWOPER, and hazardous materials handling.
• Valid drivers license.
• Valid TWIC Card.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• DOT and safety compliance experience.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, safety‑sensitive environment.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Schedule and oversee hydroblasting, tank cleaning, and emergency response jobs.
• Supervise crews and ensure safe execution of high-pressure and confined space work.
• Lead safety meetings and enforce OSHA, DOT, and company safety standards.
• Coordinate emergency response activities and on‑call operations.
• Monitor equipment, job performance, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure proper waste handling, documentation, and compliance.
• Train and mentor employees on procedures and safety practices.
