Job summary

Action Environmental in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Field Supervisor to oversee crew and equipment on plant or project sites. The role ensures work is completed safely and to customer standards, with 3–10 years’ experience in industrial cleaning or remediation and prior supervisory background.

The position requires operating hydro blasting, vacuum trucks, and tank cleaning equipment, with outdoor work in all weather and travel as needed. CDL preferred and safety-driven leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–10 years of experience in industrial cleaning or project remediation.
• Previous supervisory experience required.
• Strong commitment to safety.
• Valid driver's license; CDL preferred.
• Ability to travel and work overtime, weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety standards for the entire crew.
• Operate, supervise others in hydro blasting, chemical cleaning, vacuum truck operation, and tank cleaning.
• Operate high-pressured water blast equipment for cleaning.
• Work in confined spaces, at heights, in tanks and on diverse sites.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Hook up and break down hoses using proper tools.
• Assist in equipment operation and cleanup after tasks.
• Assist in equipment inspections and paperwork.
