Job summary

RDR is seeking a Field Supervisor to oversee the Utility Line Repair and Maintenance Division. The role reports to the project manager and entails coordinating resources, supervising crews, and ensuring safety standards on job sites in the energy sector.

The ideal candidate has proven foreman or management experience, hands-on work with HDPE installations and environmental controls, and a solid background in water transfer construction.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of foreman or managing experience.
• Experience fusing HDPE and installation of environmental controls.
• Strong background in water transfer construction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project scheduling and resource coordination.
• Push production across multiple crews.
• Supervise daily duties for foremen and leads.
• Assign daily tasks and coach crew members.
• Coordinate activities across crews and adjust timelines for changes.
• Monitor expenditures to stay within budget.
• Complete and submit work orders for invoicing.
• Advertise and sell work to potential customers.
• Build and maintain vendor relationships.
• Attend bid meetings.
• Assist with interviews and mentor new crew members.
• Schedule equipment services and maintenance.
• Order and track material and equipment inventory.
• Enforce OSHA standards and safety regulations.
• Conduct site inspections and safety observations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary:

RDR is seeking a Field Supervisor to round out the Utility Line Repair and Maintenance Division. Supervisor will report to the project manager.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the project oversight and scheduling as well as resource and material coordination.
• Manage and push production across multiple crews.
• Supervise and direct daily duties for foreman and leads.
• Assign daily tasks and coach and discipline crew members as necessary.
• Coordinate activities across multiple crews and adjust timelines for delays or change orders.
• Monitor project expenditures to stay within the established construction budget.
• Complete and submit work orders for invoicing.
• Advertise and sell work to potential customers.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors.
• Attend bid meetings.
• Assist with interviews and mentor new crew members including laborers and specialized subcontractors to ensure adherence to processes and policies.
• Schedule equipment services and maintenance.
• Order and track material and equipment inventory to prevent workflow interruptions.
• Ensure safety and compliance by enforcing OSHA standards and other local health and safety regulations at all times.
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety observations to prevent injuries and maintain a secure environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
