Dycom Industries, Inc. is seeking a Supervisor to oversee telecommunications construction project teams. You will supervise day-to-day activities, ensure project deliverables, manage budgets, and address issues to keep work compliant and on schedule.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in telecom construction, a high school diploma (Bachelor's preferred), and experience with AutoCAD/Microstation and GIS. Strong leadership and MS Office skills are required.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of progressive telecommunications construction experience.
• BS degree in related field preferred or advanced field training.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD/Microstation drafting software and GIS.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Assist with development and execution of projects aligning with long-term strategy.
• Supervise day-to-day activities and project progress; ensure adherence to deliverables.
• Monitor budgets and provide monthly variance updates.
• Identify and address project issues and risks with response plans.
• Supervise staff to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Conduct quality inspections during installation to meet plans and specs.
• Record non-compliance and ensure resolution; verify required testing is completed.

What you’ll do

• Assist with the development and execution of projects and plans supporting the organization's long-term strategy
• Supervise day to day activities/project teams and project progress, establish administrative guidance on project execution and ensure compliance with predetermined project deliverables
• Ensure adherence to project budgets and provide updates on monthly variance reports
• Identify and course correct project issues and risks, and assist in the development of response plans to resolve
• Understand current and future business goals and ongoing issues
• Supervise staff to ensure the organization's construction activities are conducted accurately, ethically, consistently and according to relevant regulations, laws, and standards.
• Conduct quality inspections during the installation process to ensure work meets plans and specifications
• Identify issues and report them to relevant team members for resolution
• Record and follow up on non-compliance issues until they are resolved
• Ensure all required testing is completed as specified and document the results

What you’ll need

• You will have 5 or more years of progressive Telecommunications construction experience
• You will have a High School Diploma or equivalent
• You may have a Bachelor's degree, preferably in a related industry, or advanced training in the field
• You will have working knowledge of AutoCAD/Microstation drafting software
• You may have working knowledge of Geographic Information Systems
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related programs
• You may have 1 or more years of personnel and functional leadership experience and/or project management experience
