Job summary

RNGD in New Orleans, LA, seeks a Superintendent to lead field execution of infrastructure construction projects. You will serve as the on-site leader, coordinating field operations, safety, and quality to meet contract requirements and schedules.

The role requires 6+ years of field leadership in civil infrastructure, strong reading of contract documents and drawings, and the ability to travel between active jobsites while guiding teams toward safe, efficient outcomes for RNGD’s portfolio.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of field leadership experience in civil or infrastructure construction environments.
• Demonstrated experience managing infrastructure projects requiring consistent on-site supervision.
• Strong understanding of civil construction processes, sequencing, and systems.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to travel regularly and work on active construction jobsites.

Responsibilities

• Lead field execution of infrastructure work, including earthwork, utilities, drainage, concrete structures, roadway, and civil systems.
• Coordinate and facilitate subcontractor startup meetings to ensure alignment on scope, schedule, safety, and quality expectations.
• Monitor production and field performance, adjusting strategies to maintain schedule and budget objectives.
• Ensure compliance with approved work plans, inspection requirements, and quality standards.
• Log, track, and process required project documentation, including daily reports, progress photos, safety documentation, inspections, and work plans.
• Coach, develop, and retain a high-performance project team; uphold RNGD values.
• Proactively manage client, employee, and subcontractor experiences to ensure satisfaction.
