Job summary

RNGD in New Orleans, LA, seeks a Superintendent to lead field execution of infrastructure construction projects. This on-site role focuses on safety, schedule, and quality, with heavy civil and bridge work as the core.

You will direct field activities, coordinate subcontractors, monitor progress, and travel between active jobsites while upholding RNGD’s values and standards. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of field leadership experience in civil or infrastructure construction environments.
• Demonstrated experience managing infrastructure projects requiring consistent on-site supervision.
• Strong understanding of civil construction processes, sequencing, and systems.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong team morale.
• Ability to travel regularly and work on active construction jobsites.

Responsibilities

• Lead field execution of infrastructure work, including earthwork, utilities, drainage, concrete structures, roadway, and civil systems.
• Coordinate and facilitate subcontractor startup meetings to ensure alignment on scope, schedule, safety, and quality expectations.
• Monitor production and field performance, adjusting strategies to maintain schedule and budget objectives.
• Ensure compliance with approved work plans, inspection requirements, and quality standards.
• Partner with the Field Safety Team to manage and reinforce the jobsite safety program.
• Log, track, and process required project documentation, including daily reports, progress photos, safety documentation, inspections, and work plans.
