Responsible for creating or auditing comprehensive damage estimates for 1st and 3rd party material damage claims in auto or specialty lines, leading to proper disposition. Responsible for training, mentoring, quality control, and providing technical assistance on material damage claims.
Location: This is a territory-based field position on the Specialty Vehicle team, ideally seated in Raleigh, NC, Sacramento, CA, or Daytona, FL, with possible travel during storm seasons.
National General, an Allstate company, seeks an expert in estimating damages for RVs, motorcycles, and commercial vehicles. Experience writing estimates on RVs from photos is required, involving advanced knowledge and experience. Familiarity with CCC, Duncan (RV), and Adjustrite (Commercial) software is preferred. Licensing is not required but beneficial.
This role does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Base salary ranges from $68,000 to $84,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Total compensation may include incentives such as commissions or bonuses.
