Job summary

Weatherford is seeking an experienced Field Specialist II for the Artificial Lift Systems (ALS) Team in Dickinson, North Dakota. The role covers installation, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of artificial lift equipment at customer well sites, with travel to remote locations and varying weather conditions.

You will work under limited supervision to support safety, efficiency, and high-quality customer service while adhering to HSE policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED; technical/vocational training preferred.
• Oilfield experience and ability to read technical manuals and drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills required.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, inspect, maintain and repair artificial lift systems and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot to minimize downtime.
• Monitor performance and identify reliability improvements.
• Complete field service reports and documentation on time.
• Follow HSE policies and safe work practices at all times.
• Operate company vehicles, tools, and equipment safely.
• Communicate status and needs with customers and team members.
• Assist with loading/unloading and inventory control.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to service requests.
