Job summary

Intertek Building & Construction in Dupont, WA is seeking a Special Inspector to perform inspections and testing across Reinforced Concrete, Structural Masonry, and Soil & Asphalt areas. The role offers a 7am–5pm weekday schedule with occasional weekend work depending on project needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in Special Inspection or Construction Industry.
• ICC Reinforced Concrete certification preferred.
• WABO Post-Installed Anchors certification preferred.
• Nuclear Gauge Technician Certification preferred.
• ICC Soils certification or ability to obtain within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and testing per procedures, codes, and specs.
• Prepare accurate daily field reports describing work performed.
• Interface professionally with onsite contractors to resolve issues.
