Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out provisions of code and ordinance requirements related to solid waste.
• Respond to alleged code violations and monitor landfill traffic for compliance.
• Maintain records and reports of solid waste management and corrective actions.
• Monitor waste from non-franchised haulers and arterial roadways.
• Oversee traffic control at the landfill and act as crew leader for flagging staff.
• Education and outreach to the community.
• Serve as liaison between the county, waste haulers, and county customers.
• Perform other duties including emergency or disaster response as required.
