Job summary

Bahnson Inc. is seeking a Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our field team in installing and servicing engineered air systems. This role requires reading blueprints, fabricating ductwork, and ensuring safety compliance on site.

Responsibilities include laying out components, drilling, assembling ducts, and coordinating with supervisors to meet site requirements. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and travel to field locations is expected.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of experience and education.
HVAC sheet metal installation experience.
Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
OSHA 10 certifications desired.
Ability to read and understand blueprints.

Responsibilities

Layout sheet metal components (Duct, Hangers, etc).
Measure and mark dimensions for field installation.
Drill holes for screws, bolts or rivets.
Install sheet metal with supportive framework.
Field fabricate or alter parts to meet site requirements.
Sketch duct fittings.
Maneuver and anchor large sheet metal ducts and parts.
Fasten joints of duct together for a complete heating cooling and ventilation system.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Enforce safety rules and guide other employees if needed.
