About the role

SIGN-ON BONUS - $2,000 (1/3 after 1 month, 1/3 after 6 months, 1/3 after 1 year)

The Field Service Technician III has completed CES Field Services Technician I & II training and/or has equivalent experience.

The Field Service Technician III is responsible for the cleanup and transportation of Hazardous and Non-Hazardous waste. Tasks include but are not limited to loading and unloading tanks and tankers with bulk liquids, inspecting equipment, hoses, and connections, and performing confined space entry.

Additionally, the Field Service Technician III will operate various equipment such as pressure washers, hand trucks, forklifts, and power tools independently, following company policies, OSHA requirements, and applicable laws. This role also serves as a subject matter expert and provides training to others.

All employees must pass pre-employment drug screening, physical, background check, Motor Vehicle Report, and review of previous employment and criminal records.

Responsibilities:

1. Drive a commercial vehicle to pick up and transport waste safely, adhering to scheduled appointments and DOT regulations.
2. Inspect truck equipment and supplies, secure cargo during transport.
3. Operate hydro blast equipment, forklifts, skid loaders, and vacuum equipment as needed for chemical, oil, and water spill work.
4. Complete documentation such as manifests, driver logs, job summaries, and permits.
5. Work in confined spaces above & below ground, on & under equipment.
6. Communicate effectively with Project Managers and on-site customers.
7. Use various tools and equipment including pneumatic and electrical tools.

Requirements:

1. High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
2. Must be 21+ years old for interstate travel in a commercial vehicle.
3. Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience.
4. CDL Class A with Tanker endorsements; HazMat endorsement preferred.
5. Clean driving record.
6. Ability to use a tablet for E-Logs.
7. Knowledge of DOT regulations.
8. Experience in construction is a plus.
9. Basic computer skills; MS Outlook and Netsuite are a plus.
10. Willingness to travel 25%, including overnight stays.
11. Ability to operate heavy and handheld equipment.
12. Work environment involves outdoor weather conditions and noise exposure.
