Job summary

Clean Harbors in Henderson, CO is seeking a Field Services Technician I to join our safety-conscious team handling hazardous waste clean-up, site remediation, equipment decontamination and hazardous material handling.

This frontline role requires physical labor, equipment operation, PPE usage and adherence to DOT and safety regulations; on-call rotation may apply to emergency response and site remediation tasks.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation
• Ability to perform physical functions per key responsibilities
• On-call emergency response with weekend/holiday work possible
• Background check, drug test, and physical required
• Facial hair standards per respirator safety requirements

Responsibilities

• Follow Health and Safety policies and act in a safe manner
• Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting and pulling heavy objects
• Operate light and heavy equipment and various hand tools
• Wear and use PPE including respirators and protective gear
• Work in varying temperatures indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
• Work in environments with potential chemical or physical hazards
• Work at elevations and in confined spaces; climb ladders/scaffolding
• Assist in field sampling and calibration of meters
• Be on call for emergency response on rotating basis
• Site remediation and handling of hazardous materials as needed
