Job summary

Three Notch Group is seeking a Field Services Technician to support Underground Storage Tank (UST), Environmental, and Geotechnical projects through field-based activities. The role involves drill-rig operations, monitoring-well installations, groundwater sampling, and compliance testing in outdoor environments.

The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, operating equipment, and traveling to project sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• CDL preferred or ability to obtain within six months.
• Willingness and ability to travel overnight on a regular basis.
• Basic familiarity with hand tools and field equipment.
• Ability to operate skid-steer equipment and other construction-related equipment preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and demanding field environments.
• Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Represent Three Notch Group professionally when interacting with clients, contractors, and the public.
• Maintain a professional appearance and foster positive working relationships with contractors and project stakeholders.
• Perform physical activities associated with drill-rig operations and monitoring-well installations.
• Conduct groundwater-sampling activities under the direction of senior technical personnel.
• Perform physical activities associated with environmental, compliance, and field-testing projects.
• Operate construction equipment, field tools, company vehicles, and other equipment required to support project activities.
• Support UST, Environmental, Geotechnical, and other field-service projects through data collection and field observations.
• Perform assigned work in compliance with company safety requirements, project procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Maintain equipment, vehicles, and supplies in safe and proper working condition.
• Accurately document field activities and communicate project information to supervisors and team members.
• Manage time effectively to complete assignments within project schedules and budgets.
• Participate in assigned training, certifications, and professional-development activities.
• Follow company policies and procedures and perform other duties as assigned.
