Job summary

Tenaris is seeking a Field Services Technician 1 to join our SUPPLY CHAIN team. You will deliver on-site technical support at customer locations, leveraging Tenaris Pipe Tracer Technology for offload, casing scans, and tallying, while maintaining inventory and safe work practices.

You will assist with tool rental services, ensuring correct tools are delivered or retrieved and documented properly, with attention to cleaning and inventory in the Field Services system.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift more than 30lbs.
• Experience with SAP is a major plus.
• Valid Driver's License is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance at customer locations regarding Tenaris Connections Offload, Casing scan and tally using Tenaris Pipe Tracer Technology and generate digital tally for the customer.
• Support and assist with Field Services equipment rental services including delivery and retrieval of tools and equipment from customer sites.
• Identify and ensure the correct rental tool is delivered or retrieved and generate proper documentation and service tickets when applicable.
• Maintain proper housekeeping, inventory and upkeep of Field Services tools at the workshop and ensure tools delivered and retrieved from customer locations are cleaned, inspected, and updated in the Tenaris Field Services Inventory Management System.

Field Services Technician 1

DEPARTMENT: SUPPLY CHAIN

Helps to provide Tenaris Run Ready Services to customers, ensuring the correct use of Tenaris technology and service application. Ensures Tenaris and Industry standards are deployed in a safe and efficient manner.

• Provides technical assistance at customer location with respect to Tenaris Connections Offload, Casing scan and tallyusing Tenaris Pipe Tracer Technology Application and generate digital tally to customer representative.
• Supports and assists with Field Services equipment rental services which includes delivery and retrieval of tools and equipment from customer’s location
• Identify and ensures that the right requested rental tool is delivered or retrieved from customer’s location and when applicable, generate proper documentation and service tickets.
• Ensures proper housekeeping, inventory and maintaining of Field Services tools at the workshop, ensuring that tools delivered and retrieved from customer’s location are properly cleaned, inspected and updated in the Tenaris Field Services Inventory Management System (FISE- IMS).
