Job summary

Shenling Environmental Systems Co., Ltd. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to deliver onsite installation, commissioning, maintenance, and emergency support for data center cooling equipment across the U.S.

You will oversee 24/7 field support, perform preventive maintenance, tuning, and training for client teams, and supervise U.S.-based subcontractors to maintain service quality. Eligible candidates must have hands-on cooling system experience, EPA 608 certification, and willingness to travel

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience with data center precision cooling and HVAC systems.
• EPA Section 608 Universal Certification required.
• Willing to travel frequently and respond to 24/7 emergency calls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee onsite installation, commissioning, maintenance, and emergency support for data center cooling equipment.
• Provide 24/7 field support and emergency repair to minimize downtime.
• Train and supervise subcontractor teams and ensure service quality across sites.

We are looking for a Field Service Engineer to deliver onsite installation, commissioning, maintenance, and emergency support for data center cooling equipment across the U.S.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee onsite installation, system commissioning, integrated testing, and final acceptance of data center cooling equipment to ensure compliance with operational standards.

• 24/7 Field Support

Provide 24/7 emergency repair and preventive maintenance for cooling systems to minimize downtime and ensure continuous data center operation.

Perform cooling system tuning, PUE optimization, and parameter adjustments; deliver technical training and operational guidance to clients as needed.

• Subcontractor Oversight

Train and supervise U.S.-based subcontractor maintenance teams, enforce consistent service standards, and ensure quality control across all maintenance activities.

• Complete other related work as required by the leader.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with data center precision cooling, chilled water systems, or industrial HVAC.
• Deep knowledge of refrigeration cycles, control logic, water systems, and electrical troubleshooting.
• EPA Section 608 Universal Certification required.
• Willing to respond to 24/7 emergency calls; self-starter with strong problem-solving skills.
• Adaptable to scheduling across multiple project sites and willing to travel frequently.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and catwalks; work in confined spaces, and stand/walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours or more per shift).
• Comfortable working in and around mechanical and electrical equipment, including exposure to high noise levels, temperature variations, and moving machinery.
• Must be able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for extended periods.
• Good hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and visual acuity for safe equipment handling.
