Job summary

Merative is seeking a Field Services Engineer to install, configure, and test virtual and physical solutions remotely and onsite for clients across the United States. You will perform basic Linux/Windows server work and production builds from ERP orders, ensuring adherence to quality processes.

The role requires extensive travel (75–100%), strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, and a focus on customer success and patient data confidentiality. A valid driver’s license is needed.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent in Electronics Tech or Computer Science.
  • A+, CISCO, MCSE certifications desirable.
  • Experience in healthcare IT or field service is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and test virtual and physical solutions onsite or in house.
  • Perform basic Linux/Windows server and workstation setup.
  • Follow installation procedures and complete checklists per QMS.
  • Maintain detailed electronic documentation and provide customer-ready configurations.
  • Travel 75% to 100% and ensure patient safety and data confidentiality.

Team members are responsible for the installation, configuration, and testing of our virtual and physical solutions in accordance to quality processes and procedures.
