Field Service Engineer – Advanced Water and Wastewater Equipment Systems

Location: Remote within the United States or Canada, with extensive travel

You have built your career on problem-solving, technical skill, and the satisfaction of knowing that what you fix stays fixed. Now imagine applying those strengths to a role where every project protects communities, improves essential infrastructure, and safeguards natural resources. This is more than a job; it is the opportunity to work on complex mechanical, electrical, and control systems in facilities that keep water clean, safe, and available. You will work with a supportive, experienced team that values your input and trusts you to deliver results.

About the Company

This organization is a trusted leader in advanced liquid-solid separation technology, providing engineered solutions that serve municipal, industrial, and agricultural customers across North America. Their products are known for quality, reliability, and innovation, and they stand behind their field team with training, tools, and engineering support that ensure success in the field.

What You Will Do

  • Travel to customer sites to lead equipment inspections, installation verification, and system commissioning.
  • Train customer operators and maintenance teams so they can run and maintain their systems with confidence.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system issues, providing both immediate fixes and long-term recommendations.
  • Perform warranty service, scheduled maintenance, and upgrades to keep equipment operating at peak performance.
  • Work closely with engineering to share field insights that can influence future product design.
  • Keep precise service records and maintain an organized approach to tools, parts, and documentation while in the field.

What You Bring

  • A degree in engineering or five or more years of relevant field service experience.
  • Strong mechanical expertise with foundational electrical and controls knowledge.
  • The ability to troubleshoot complex systems and adapt quickly to new challenges.
  • Clear communication skills for working with customers, colleagues, and engineering teams.
  • A focus on safety and adherence to industry best practices.
  • Comfort with extensive travel, up to seventy-five percent, across the United States, its territories, and Canada.

Why This Role Stands Out

This role is built for someone who enjoys independence in the field, thrives in varied work environments, and wants their expertise to make a measurable difference. You will see the results of your work immediately, from equipment coming online after commissioning to the improved performance of systems you service. You will join a company that respects your technical judgment, invests in your professional growth, and offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and the chance to work on meaningful projects that have a direct impact on communities and the environment.
