NYNE Mechanical is seeking a Field Service Valve Technician to support valve repair and service work in the field and in the shop in Auburn, MA. You will troubleshoot, disassemble, repair, assemble, calibrate, and test safety relief valves, isolation valves, actuators, and related equipment while maintaining high safety, quality, and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Mechanical associate degree or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Experience with valve repair, testing, troubleshooting, or rotating/mechanical equipment preferred.
• Ability to work independently in the field and as part of a team.
• Good communication and computer skills, including Microsoft 365.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and off-hours as needed.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs. and work in physically demanding field and shop environments.

Responsabilités

• Perform inspection, teardown, repair, assembly, calibration, and testing of valves and actuators
• Diagnose failures and recommend the proper repair scope
• Complete field service work safely and ensure repairs meet applicable code and customer requirements
• Document repair, testing, and service activity in real time using photos, reports, and work order records
• Maintain field service equipment, tooling, trucks, and trailers in ready-to-work condition
• Support inventory, final inspection, packaging, shipping, and general shop operations
• Help maintain strong housekeeping, 5S, and safety standards
