Job summary

Atlas Pressure Control in Odessa, TX, is seeking a Field Service Training Specialist to develop the competency and independence of field service technicians through hands-on training and field exposure.

You will work with Field Service Managers to mentor technicians on installation, operation, testing, servicing, and removal of wellhead equipment, ensuring safety, quality, and attendance at planning meetings. Travel and documentation are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 5+ years related experience is acceptable.
• Ability to mentor technicians and demonstrate practical field techniques.
• Strong reading/writing communication and basic math skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop field service technicians through hands-on training and field exposure.
• Attend field service jobs with trainees and provide instruction on installation, operation, testing, servicing, and removal of Atlas equipment.
• Conduct competency assessments and sign off workers only when competent.
• Document progress, prepare training packages, and maintain records per HSSE standards.
