Job summary

A&B Business Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician - Water in Sioux Falls, SD to install, service and maintain point-of-use water filtration and coffee systems. You will deliver exceptional service, maximize uptime, and build strong customer relationships.

The ideal candidate has a hands-on mechanical background, can work independently in the field, and focuses on safety. A high school diploma or GED is required, with electronics/mechanical experience and a clean driving record;

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical/electrical aptitude and problem solving.
• Willingness to work independently in the field with limited supervision.

• Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain equipment standards.

Responsibilities

• Install and service water filtration systems, ice makers, and coffee equipment.
• Replace filters and sanitation components and consumables.
• Troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, and control issues.
• Maintain sanitation and health/safety compliance.
• Advise customers on services A&B can provide.

Major Goals and Responsibilities:

The Field Service Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair of point-of-use water filtration and coffee systems. This position delivers exceptional customer service while ensuring equipment reliability, maximizing up time, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

The ideal candidate possesses strong mechanical background and is capable of independently managing service territory while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

• Install and service point-of-use water filtration systems, ice makers, and commercial coffee equipment.
• Replace filters, sanitation components, and consumable items.
• Troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, dispensing, and control system issues.
• Maintain equipment sanitation and compliance with applicable health and safety standards.
• Provide recommendations to current and new customers regarding services A&B can provide.

Qualification and Education Requirements:
