Job summary

OPEX Corporation is seeking a full-time, onsite Field Service Technician to support Warehouse Automation. You will use hand tools for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of material handling equipment, with emphasis on mechanical work, electronics and some software.

Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, thrive in a fast-paced environment, service robotic equipment, and actively interact with customers, complete field service reports and collaborate to resolve performance

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in related field or equivalent hands-on job experience.
• PC literacy including Word, Excel, and Windows OS.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Driver's license, insurance and a reliable vehicle.
• Ability to lift at least 40 pounds independently.
• Standing and walking for the duration of shift.
• Ability to maneuver a job site, including small spaces around equipment.

Responsibilities

• Keep equipment running in production, including maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.
• Install and set up new equipment.
• Interact with the customer to determine the problem.
• Complete field service reports.
• Keep the customer informed as repairs are made and answer questions.
• Collaborate with management and other personnel to analyze and correct equipment performance issues.
• Complete and submit weekly online timecards and expense reports.
