Job summary

Industrial Electric Manufacturing is looking for a Field Service Technician (Levels 1, 2 or 3) based in Chicago, Illinois. The role requires hands-on installation and commissioning of electrical equipment at customer sites, mainly in data centers. Candidates must have a technical degree and significant field service experience, especially with electrical switchgear.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in manufacturing, data center or field service roles.
• Experience with commissioning of LV/MV electrical switchgear (required for Level 3 candidates).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams (required for Level 3).

Responsibilities

• Conduct hands-on field service and installation at customer sites.
• Perform troubleshooting of electrical circuits and networking equipment.
• Coordinate with the Technical Project Manager for solutions.
