Job summary

Atlas Copco Group in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Field Service Technician for our Specialty Rental team. You will provide on-site and field repair services, maintain equipment fleets, and support customers across the territory in a hybrid work arrangement.

With 2–3+ years in industrial field service, an electromechanical background, and proficiency in electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, you will help ensure reliability and uptime while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of industrial field service experience.
• Electromechanical degree or training.
• Experience in maintenance, overhaul and repair of equipment including electrical, hydraulics or pneumatics.
• Proficient in English; another language is a bonus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various industrial environments.

Your role

Your mission as the Field Service Engineer is to provide expert repair services for our technology solutions, delivering unmatched customer satisfaction and upholding the highest standards of safety. You are committed to ensuring the performance and longevity of your customers technology through your expertise. Your work is important for supporting the operational success and technological advancement of industries relying on these technologies.

You will

• Report directly to the Customer Support Manager.
• Maintain fleet in the field
• Repair down equipment in the field and at customer locations
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment throughout the territory
• Develop and optimize efficient processes and routines
• Improve measureale success to business targets
• Document all work performed daily by using company provided hardware and software

• You have 2 - 3+ years of experience as an industrial related field service mechanic
• You have an appropriate electromechanical degree or training
• You have demonstrated expertise in the maintenance, overhaul and repair of different industtrial equipment including electrical, hydraulics and/or pneumatics
• You have a good command in English and a second language knowledge is a bonus
• You have high energy levels
• You will be expected to lift up to 50lbs and work in industrial environments including extremes in temperature with walking, standing, reaching, bending, and kneeling

You will be part of our customer center in Albuquerque, NM. You will join a dynamic field service team, working in a hybrid role and spending a significant amount of time traveling to visit customers within your designated area,United States (US).
