Job summary

Midwest Equipment Company is looking for an experienced Service Technician to service commercial soft serve equipment, grills, and ovens at customer locations in Effingham, Illinois. The role offers a $1,000 sign-on bonus and a competitive starting pay, with overtime opportunities and a Monday–Friday daytime schedule.

The position includes a company van, uniforms, and a supportive team environment, with travel as needed and a path to ownership through the ESOP.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of service technician experience.
• Experience with refrigerants strongly preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude is a must; commercial foodservice equipment experience is a plus.
• Occasional overnight travel during the week.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• HS diploma or equivalent; technical school training and/or EPA Universal Card is a plus.
• Ability to work alone and with others.
• Like ice cream and slushes.
