The Field Service Technician – Sheetfed (Electrical Focus) is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing Heidelberg Sheetfed printing equipment, with a primary focus on electrical and control system issues. The role supports customers by identifying electrical faults, performing repairs, and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently. Technicians also provide customer training on equipment operation and basic maintenance procedures. They take ownership of service assignments and collaborate with installation teams, riggers, fellow technicians, and the technical helpdesk to resolve issues and complete installations. Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, machine controls, and the ability to interpret electrical schematics are essential for success in this role. This position requires travel to customer locations to provide on‑site service and support. A company vehicle is provided, and when travel extends beyond the assigned geographic area, airfare, lodging, rental car, and per diem expenses are covered.
This position requires travel to customer sites covering the Central Region (and in some cases beyond) with an average travel requirement of 67%–100%. A company vehicle is provided; when traveling outside the assigned geographic area, airfare, hotels, and per diem are supplied. Salary ranges from $30 to $35 per hour.
