Field Service Technician Senior - Rotator - After Market Services

Join us to apply for the Field Service Technician Senior - Rotator - After Market Services role at Archrock.

Job Overview

This role involves performing maintenance and repair activities on gas compression and/or process equipment at customer locations. Acts as a technical resource for complex issues within the assigned area.

Key Responsibilities

1. Maintain a safe, organized work environment, adhering to all health, safety, and environmental procedures.
2. Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) independently and efficiently.
3. Handle most Call-Outs (CO), diagnosing and repairing mechanical problems on various equipment such as compressor packages, gas process, and power generation equipment.
4. Lead teams during Major Maintenance (MM), Overhaul, and MOB/DEMOB projects with minimal assistance.
5. Complete and submit documentation accurately and promptly.

Additional Duties

Perform other duties as assigned, ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory policies.

Skills and Qualifications

• Advanced diagnostic and repair skills on multiple types of equipment.
• Ability to perform Preventative Maintenance independently.
• Leadership in managing maintenance projects and teams.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency in reading technical manuals and using relevant software and tools.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of gas engines, compressors, electrical systems, and controls.
• Experience with troubleshooting new technologies and telematics.
• Understanding of HSE procedures and regulations.
• Ability to read performance curves and make necessary adjustments.

Minimum Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• At least 5 years of experience with natural gas engines and compressors.

Physical and Travel Requirements

Must meet medical and physical requirements, including ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work in various weather conditions, and travel extensively.
