Job summary

Mobius Renewables, LLC is seeking a Renewable Gas Field Service Technician to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot renewable gas systems across facilities in the Columbia, SC area. The role requires mobility, on-call responsiveness, and adherence to safety standards.

You will monitor compression/decompression facilities, perform repairs, collect data, and support process improvements. Travel between sites and occasional external site work are expected.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience with industrial equipment
• 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance
• Valid U.S. work authorization
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor renewable gas compression and decompression facilities, including rotating equipment and gas delivery systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine root cause; perform repairs, maintenance, or replacements.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems, including pumps and compressors.
• Maintain instrumentation and control equipment (recorders, flowmeters, analyzers, etc.).
• Record and analyze operational data; provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports on trends and production.
• Assist with process control improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Respond to urgent operational issues to ensure safety and system integrity.
