Job summary

Invenergy is hiring a Field Service Technician to perform major component replacements and repairs across our fleet. The role requires traveling on 4-week intervals with a week home, and living in one of several states including Oklahoma.

Applicants should have at least 1 year of technical experience or a relevant education, a HS diploma, and the ability to work outdoors, climb ladders, and lift up to 100 lbs. Valid US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year technical experience or equivalent education.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather and climb ladders.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work at heights and lift up to 100 lbs (45 kg).
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Invenergy field service group to engage internal and external parties.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults on multiple platforms.
• Train site personnel in safety and maintenance practices.
• Lead teams to perform major component replacements and repairs.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues.
• Understand functions of equipment platforms and perform inspections.
• Prepare daily and monthly reports and document procedures.
• Adhere to Invenergy safety policies and travel on a 4-week rotation.
