Job summary

Invenergy is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform major component replacements and repairs across the fleet. The role requires travel in 4-week intervals away from home and working in outdoor environments, with safety first and adherence to Invenergy policies.

The position includes on-site responsibilities in states including Oklahoma, Nebraska, New Mexico, Kansas, Colorado, and Texas, with base pay listed and potential bonuses. A valid US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of technical experience (mechanical or electrical) or technical education.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to work outdoors in inclement weather, climb ladders, and lift up to 100 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work at heights above 250 feet (80 m).
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Collaboratively represent Invenergy and the Field Service Group to internal and external parties.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in multiple equipment platforms.
• Train site personnel in safety, maintenance, and operations.
• Lead teams to perform major component replacements and repairs.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic problems.
• Understand and work with multiple equipment platforms’ functions.
• Perform site inspections and compile reports.
• Complete daily and monthly reporting.
• Write and revise procedures for component replacements.
• Travel in 4-week intervals away from home with a week off.
