Our client, a growing industrial equipment manufacturer and service organization, is hiring Field Service Technicians / Refractory Apprentices to join its expanding service team. This is an entry-level opportunity where you'll receive hands‑on training while traveling to customer sites throughout the U.S. to help repair, rebuild, and maintain industrial equipment.
No refractory experience is required. Candidates with backgrounds in construction, manufacturing, automotive, mechanical work, welding, concrete, masonry, industrial labor, maintenance, or other hands‑on environments are encouraged to apply. Prior construction, manufacturing, industrial labor or mechanical experience is helpful but not required.
This isn't a dead-end labor position. The company has established a technician career path that allows successful apprentices to progress into Refractory Lead, Senior Service Technician, Technical Specialist and eventually field‑service leadership positions.
This is a high-travel field position. Candidates should be comfortable being away from home for several days to a week at a time, with occasional longer assignments.
