Job summary

SAGE Rental Services is seeking a reliable Field Service Technician to provide on-site repair, maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation support for rental equipment at customer locations in Oklahoma City, OK. The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, customer-focused, and capable of delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced field environment.

Responsibilities include on-site customer service, equipment inspection and repair, and creating service work orders.

Qualifications

• Must live within local commuting distance of Oklahoma City, OK.
• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Willing to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Previous diesel, mechanical, or field service experience preferred.
• Technical and computer literacy including Microsoft Office and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Personal tools required.

SAGE Rental Services is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Field Service Technician to join our Oklahoma City, OK team. This position is responsible for providing on-site repair, maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation support for SAGE rental equipment at customer locations. The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, customer-focused, and committed to delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced field environment.

Responsibilities

• Customer service and field support: Provide professional on-site service to customers, communicate clearly, address customer concerns in a timely manner, and maintain strong working relationships while following company operating and safety guidelines
• Equipment repair and maintenance: Inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain rental equipment and machinery. Create customer work orders, perform required service work, and help customers understand proper equipment use

Requirements

• Must live within local commuting distance of the Oklahoma City, OK office; rotational on/off cycle work will not be provided
• Must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or GED required
• Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen
• Must be willing and available to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation for after-hours service requests
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
• Previous diesel, mechanical, or field service experience preferred
• Technical and computer literacy skills, including Microsoft Office, engine diagnostic tools, rental industry software, and related systems
• Ability to build strong customer relationships and communicate professionally
• Ability to manage workflow in a timely and consistent manner and work well in a team environment
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Commitment to following company safety requirements and environmental standards while on duty and on customer sites
• Personal tools required

Preferred Qualifications

• Trade or technical certification
• Previous rental, industrial, construction, pump, rotating equipment, diesel, or heavy equipment experience
• Two to five years of related field service or heavy equipment experience preferred
