Job summary

Baselineenergy is seeking a Field Service Technician to repair and maintain industrial natural gas generators at customer sites in Roosevelt, UT. You will drive to locations, perform preventative maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, valve adjustments, and radiator cleaning, and diagnose generator control issues.

You will troubleshoot engine and electrical systems, handle startup and shutdown procedures, and communicate with customers to ensure equipment runs reliably.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Pass a background and drug screen.
• Experienced background or trade school.
• Electrical/generator troubleshooting & repair.
• Engine overhaul.
• Systematic troubleshooting/problem solving skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must have own hand tools (company provides specialty tools).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on industrial natural gas generators at customer locations.
• Basic maintenance items include: oil changes, spark plug changes, oil and air filter replacement, radiator washing, load bank testing.
• Repair and maintenance of engine and electrical system components (fuel systems, cooling systems, air injection systems, generator control panels).
• Diagnose 480V electrical output and tune/replace diodes and regulators as needed.
• Mobilize and demobilize generators to/from well sites and assist with startup functions.
• Respond to call outs/alarms on a 24/7 basis, including nights and weekends as needed.
• Communicate professionally with customers and coordinate parts inventory for planned and unplanned needs.
• Support other regions on repairs and special projects as required.
